LOCATION: As was the case with Kyogre, Groudon can be found in Sootopolis City’s Cave of Origin after completing the submarine event, this time in Ruby against Team Magma (as opposed to against Team Aqua in Sapphire). Once again, this is one monster you’ll HAVE to either capture or defeat in order to advance the plot, kinda like that stupid Kecleon outside Fortree City only infinitely cooler. Sorry Sapphire owners, but you won’t be seeing Groudon anytime soon unless you’re fortunate enough to have someone to trade with.
